Twenty-six of the most common questions we get about working with AJH Technology — pricing, packages, timeline, technology, team, support and everything else. If your question isn't here, book a 20-minute call.
AJH Technology is a Suffolk web design and digital production agency. We design and build lead-generating websites for small businesses, with three fixed-price packages plus a bespoke option.
Every website comes with brand support, SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation setup, and an ongoing managed-service arrangement. Founded in 2024 by Harlyn Palmer, we are based at Grange Farm, Creeting St Mary, Suffolk, IP6 8NG, and work with clients across Ipswich, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Diss and the wider East of England.
AJH Technology is founded and led by Harlyn Palmer, an ex-professional footballer turned digital operator. Harlyn runs client relationships, delivery and strategy end-to-end.
Specialist collaborators are brought in on a per-project basis for photography, video and copywriting when a brief calls for it. Every AJH project has one point of contact — you speak to the person doing the work.
AJH Technology is based at The Office, Grange Farm, All Saints Road, Creeting St Mary, Suffolk, IP6 8NG — just outside Needham Market, roughly 15 minutes from Ipswich and Stowmarket, and 25 minutes from Bury St Edmunds.
We work with clients across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and the wider East of England, plus remote clients elsewhere in the UK. Local clients get in-person discovery sessions and site visits included in every package.
AJH Technology serves small businesses across the East of England.
Primary coverage: Ipswich, Stowmarket, Needham Market, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Diss and the surrounding Suffolk villages.
Extended coverage: Norfolk (Norwich, Diss, Wymondham), Essex (Colchester, Braintree, Chelmsford) and Cambridgeshire (Newmarket, Ely).
Remote UK clients are also welcome — we've delivered projects for clients from South London to North Yorkshire.
AJH Technology offers three fixed-price website packages for Suffolk small businesses:
Launch — £500 setup + £25 per month.
Grow — £1,000 setup + £75 per month.
Flagship — £2,000 setup + £125 per month.
Every package includes hosting, SSL, security patching, GDPR-ready forms, monthly performance reporting, unlimited copy/content updates and a 30-day post-launch care window. All packages carry a 12-month minimum commitment.
A bespoke option is available for platform-scale projects — get in touch for a quote.
The Launch package (£500 setup + £25/month) is designed for sole traders and micro-businesses. It includes:
A 3-page mobile-first website, hosting, SSL, a lead-capture form wired to your inbox, Google indexing setup, one round of design revisions, on-brand favicon and Open Graph share cards, GA4 analytics, and 30 days of post-launch support. Launch clients get the same care as Flagship — smaller scope, same quality.
The Grow package (£1,000 setup + £75/month) is our most popular option for growing SMEs. It includes:
A 5–8 page mobile-first website, hosting, SSL, full brand refresh (palette, type, logo tune-up), FAQ/schema/AEO layer for AI surfacing, Google Business Profile connection, unlimited copy updates, monthly performance reports, priority support and 90 days of post-launch care.
The Flagship package (£2,000 setup + £125/month) is for businesses that want the whole system. It includes:
An 8–14 page website, hosting, SSL, full brand identity, custom photography direction, SEO + AEO programme, LinkedIn company page setup, content strategy, custom Open Graph images per page, quarterly strategy reviews with the founder, and continuous improvement worked into the retainer. Flagship clients get end-to-end managed service — they focus on their business, we run the digital.
Yes. Beyond the three standard packages, AJH Technology delivers bespoke web development for projects that need it.
Recent bespoke work includes the Needham Market FC platform — 18-card deliverables, live FA Full-Time API integrations for fixtures/results/league table, SQL-backed ticketing system, SQL-backed venue booking system, supporter portal with My Account, sponsor management, club shop and NeedhamFC TV.
Bespoke projects are priced on scope — get in touch for a scoping conversation.
Most AJH Technology websites go live within three weeks of the kick-off call. When a client has a hard deadline — a trade show, funding round, seasonal launch, school term — we have delivered in one week.
Larger platform builds (like Needham Market FC — brand, API integrations, SQL ticketing and venue booking) take three months.
Tell us the deadline that actually matters to you, and we work backwards from that date. Your deadline drives our schedule, not ours.
AJH Technology delivers in four phases:
Phase 1 — Discovery: a 20-minute strategy call plus a written brief covering goals, audience and success measures.
Phase 2 — Design: mobile-first design in flat files with one revision round included.
Phase 3 — Build: hand-coded static HTML and CSS, schema markup, indexing setup, GA4 wiring, form pipelines, image optimisation.
Phase 4 — Launch: DNS/SSL, sitemap submission, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster setup, 30 days of post-launch care.
Larger builds add an Integrate phase (API/SQL work) between Build and Launch.
Yes. Brand identity is a core part of AJH Technology's practice.
Grow and Flagship packages include a brand refresh — colour palette, typography, logo tune-up and Open Graph card set.
Full brand builds (like the 8-piece Wall2Wall collateral pack — logo system, vehicle livery, site boards, letterhead, business cards, email signature, workwear, social kit) are quoted separately. The Needham Market FC project included a full brand refresh around the historic 1919 crest.
AJH Technology builds mobile-first, static HTML and CSS websites with vanilla JavaScript only where it earns its place.
Sites are hosted on Netlify with GitHub-driven deploys and edge caching. This gives sub-2-second load times on 4G, zero attack surface, easy long-term maintenance and no CMS bloat.
For larger projects (like Needham Market FC) we add SQL-backed transactional systems for ticketing, bookings and supporter accounts, and API integrations against feeds like FA Full-Time.
Every site ships with Schema.org structured data — LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Article, BreadcrumbList and BlogPosting — so it's ready for both Google indexing and Answer Engine Optimisation for LLMs like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity.
AJH Technology treats SEO as a first-class discipline, not an afterthought. Every site ships with:
Clean semantic HTML structure, canonical URLs, comprehensive Schema.org markup (LocalBusiness, Service, Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Product/Offer), a valid XML sitemap, an indexed robots.txt, per-page Open Graph and Twitter Card images, and Google Search Console verification.
We publish town-specific landing pages for local search (Ipswich, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Woodbridge, Felixstowe) and an editorial insights blog with schema-tagged BlogPosting articles.
Grow and Flagship clients get monthly performance reports and continuous SEO improvement worked into the retainer.
AEO — Answer Engine Optimisation — is designed into every AJH Technology project from day one.
We build direct-answer sections into every page so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Claude can quote the answer cleanly.
We use FAQPage, LocalBusiness, Service, Article and Product schema to give AI parsers unambiguous semantic anchors. We keep dateModified fresh on all evergreen pages. We use plain-English town/service/business language rather than jargon so LLMs can synthesise correctly.
We measure success by asking each of the major AI assistants specific customer questions and checking whether our clients appear in the answer.
AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimisation. It's the practice of building websites so that AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, Bing Copilot — can quote your business as a named answer to conversational questions like "who's a good plasterer near Stowmarket?" or "what does a small business website cost in Ipswich?".
AJH Technology treats AEO as a first-class discipline alongside SEO, because more and more customer research is happening inside AI conversations rather than in traditional search results.
Every AJH-built site ships with the schema, the direct-answer copy structure and the freshness signals that AI engines weight most heavily.
Yes — ongoing managed service is built into every AJH Technology package.
The monthly fee covers hosting, SSL, security patching, uptime monitoring, GDPR-compliant forms, unlimited copy updates, image swaps, new pages, Schema.org maintenance, sitemap refresh, Google Search Console monitoring, and monthly performance reporting.
Larger platform clients (like Needham Market FC and Eastrada Facilities) get weekly content refreshes, new photography added to the gallery, sponsor changes, accreditation updates and continuous SEO/AEO improvement. Clients focus on their business, AJH keeps the website sharp.
Every AJH Technology package includes ongoing support.
Standard channels: email support (typical response within one business day), phone support on 07488 286207 (business hours), and unlimited copy/content update requests.
Emergencies (site down, form broken) are prioritised same-day where possible.
Grow and Flagship clients get priority support windows and monthly check-in calls. Larger platform clients get a weekly working cadence and quarterly strategy reviews with the founder.
AJH Technology works primarily with small and medium businesses in trades, professional services, sports, hospitality and healthcare across Suffolk and the East of England.

There is no automatic renewal or lock-in — clients stay because they want to.
On termination, AJH will hand over the domain, DNS records and any exportable content assets. Hosting can either transition to the client or continue as an add-on. The site's design and code remain the property of AJH but are licensed to the client for use as long as the account is in good standing.
Yes. AJH Technology is fully UK GDPR-compliant.
